Security Policy

The rapidly evolving use of technology has opened the doors to vast amounts of information, and has provided the ability to transact business with lightning speed. Unfortunately, it is also a haven for some people with bad intentions. Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the United States. It occurs when personal information (examples: your name, social security number, account numbers, etc.) is obtained by an unauthorized party and used for unlawful activities.

We will provide a secure environment for you to transact your banking online. We utilize appropriate technology to ensure all customer information is safe and secure, and to protect against unauthorized access. We use Multifactor Authentication security to identify you as the legitimate user trying to access your accounts. The transmission of data between your computer and the database containing your private information is encrypted for your privacy and protection. Those systems are further protected by up-to-date anti-virus software and firewall security.

The Bank of Kaukauna will never ask for confidential information through e-mail and will never ask for your password or PIN through e-mail, via the telephone or in person.
