John has spent the last twenty years involved in various aspects of risk management, including work in information technology, legal practice, and in banking. John’s blend of experience allows him to bring added value to loan and deposit customers with structured transactions and needs.
Prior to joining the Bank of Kaukauna in 2011, John practiced law in Minneapolis for Dorsey & Whitney, LLP and Stoel Rives, LLP. He also clerked for the Wisconsin Supreme Court after graduating from law school at the University of Iowa.
John has worked with a diverse group of customers ranging from single-employee businesses to complex organizations. He has helped to optimize financial workflows with governmental entities and believes in utilizing technology to improve efficiency and the customer experience. In his former law practice, he litigated numerous cases involving intellectual property and complex commercial transactions.
